The Professional Year Information
Technology developed by the Australian
Computer Society (ACS). This program enables you to achieve your career goals
and overcomes obstacles to employment by
gaining the knowledge, skills and workplace experience employers are looking.
Eligibility Criteria
To enrol
in the ICT Professional Year Program, you must:
- Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate award in Australia, in ICT
(minimum two years)
- Applied for a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) with at least 12
months validity or Bridging Visa or may be eligible for a 457, 489 or 402 visas.
- Have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (no band lower than 5.0) or equivalent.
- Skills Assessment
letter from ACS (if applicable)
Course Duration
- Professional
Component: Completed during the 44 weeks (minimum) program
- Training
component: 32 weeks
- Internship
Placement: 12 weeks (full-time)
- IELTS advanced
program: 5 weeks completed at same time as the
training component.
Course Fee
Around $12,500 (Most of the providers are offer installment plans).
